For us, sustainable stand construction means using durable and reusable materials that can be deployed across multiple events. Short transport routes, regional structures and social responsibility are key elements of our approach.
Material
Reusable system components form the foundation of our exhibition stand concepts. Around 80% of our stand construction materials are used multiple times (based on the material volume of our standard product range). For individual elements such as campaign-specific graphics, we offer a variety of options. These include selected graphic and construction materials with recycled content, as well as solutions that enable the repeated use of components and can help reduce the need for new materials.
Transport
A large proportion of our reusable materials is stored directly at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. This helps reduce transport distances and the associated logistics effort. Thanks to our location on-site, our team is present throughout the build-up and dismantling phases, enabling close coordination and efficient project support.
In addition, we offer the option of designing custom exhibition stands for repeated use and storing them between events. For selected applications, we use materials with favourable recycling and recovery characteristics and ensure the careful separation of recyclable materials to support further processing.
Energy
Since the beginning of 2020, all electricity used for stand construction, exhibition halls and site operations at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds has been sourced from renewable energy in line with Messe Frankfurt’s sustainability standards. This also includes our offices and storage facilities located on the exhibition grounds. In our standard exhibition stand concepts, we additionally use energy-efficient LED lighting as an integral part of the stand equipment.
Sustainability at Messe Frankfurt
As part of Messe Frankfurt, Fairconstruction follows the company’s sustainability goals and environmental standards. Messe Frankfurt pursues a holistic sustainability approach that combines environmental responsibility, economic performance and social considerations.
